Earthbound

I have worked as a dramaturg for Earthbound, a visual theatre production by Marta Cuscunà. Freely inspired by Donna Haraway’s Staying with the trouble, the show is a science fiction story in which a community of creatures inhabits the Earth in a near future doomed by global extinction.

I have supported the writing of the script by developing a body of research embracing eco-feminism, history of science and speculative biology. During the stage of production I then acted as a bridge connecting the theoretical basis of the work and the mise en scene, ensuring coherence between the script and the performance.
