I worked as a project manager and editor for Pas De Deux, a two-channel video installation by Roberto Fassone conceived as a coreography for two videos.
Installed on a theatre stage, the piece is a psychedelic trip that orchestrates a multitude of fragments engaging with dreams, stock footage, post-internet, lockdown experiences and the history of cinema.
The challenge of the project was to treat video editing in coreographic terms, considering each video screen a performer in its own right. For such purpose I have developed a live editing workflow that could respond to an ever-evolving script and be implemented live on stage.
